Who are Renee & Alyssa?

Renee Fisher

Who is Renee?

Renee is a long time resident of Arlington, VA. She raised her kids here and they all went to Arlington schools. Over her years in real estate, Renee has sold thousands of homes: detached homes, townhouses, condos and even a horse farm.  She is a Lifetime Top Producer and Million Dollar Club Sales Agent. But she knows that you don’t care about that. You care about YOUR house and what Renee will do for YOU, to either find you your dream house or to market the house you are living in now.

You’ve come to the right place. Renee works mostly by referral.  If she doesn’t deliver more than clients expect, they don’t refer her to friends and family.  It’s as simple as that. The trick is that she treats each client as though they are her only client.  And that has worked, time and time again.

What non-real estate experience does Renee have that helps her be the great agent she is?

Before entering the real estate profession, Renee was a school teacher.  She uses those teaching skills a lot now with clients. She demystifies the buying or selling process, communicates often and in a clear way, and really listens.  She doesn’t, however, assign homework or give tests, which clients appreciate.

She loves it when her clients are partners with her in the buying and/or selling process.  And she especially loves when clients tell her that it all seemed so easy. She doesn’t share with them the times that she had to pull ice cream out of the freezer, after a testy call with a lender, a home inspector, or another Realtor.

Alyssa Cannon

Who is Alyssa?

Alyssa Cannon has real estate in her blood.  Her father was, for many years, a highly successful commercial Realtor in DC, and Alyssa learned her craft from an early age.  She is a native Washingtonian and has always worked the Virginia/DC/Maryland market. But the DC area is more than where Alyssa comes from.  It’s also her passion: the history and development, along with current real estate market conditions.

What non-real estate experience does Renee have that helps her be the great agent she is?

In 1998, Alyssa began working as a concierge at a 5-star hotel in Washington, DC.  Realtors talk a lot about concierge service, but Alyssa has lived it. She brings to her clients that mentality: total commitment to service, well beyond what people expect.

Alyssa also believes firmly in being an active participant in building a strong, vibrant community that reflects well on the people living in the neighborhood.  She has worked with the Arlington Food Assistance Center by organizing a neighborhood food drive and is a strong supporter of the Children’s Sitar Center in Washington DC. This arts center brings its diverse community together to give underserved children and youth the opportunity to explore and study the visual and performing arts.

In her spare time, she loves to eat the gourmet meals her husband prepares. He is not a chef by profession but he should be one! They travel, enjoy going to lectures and the theater and adore their rescued Horgie, yes Horgie as she is a combination of a Corkie, Siberian Huskie, and a terrier. Lucy hit the jackpot when she was adopted from the shelter. She was able to secure two homes with two cars and became a shared dog between Alyssa and her husband and Alyssa’s parents. What a lucky pup!
